Payments
The payment methods available for purchases of products on the prepei.co website are described below.
CREDIT CARDS
Prepei S.R.L. accepts the most common credit cards, including prepaid and rechargeable cards, issued by VISA, VISA ELECTRON, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO, and AMERICAN EXPRESS.
All orders placed are subject to authenticity checks by the relevant credit card issuers before being processed, in order to protect the customer.
When paying by credit card, once the procedure has been completed, the customer will have generated a purchase proposal that will be confirmed by email, with the assignment of a specific order number that the customer must use in all further communications with Prepei S.R.L.
If there are no problems, the order will be automatically confirmed and processed as quickly as possible, and in any case within seven days of the date of purchase, with the goods being shipped by courier at the sole discretion of Prepei S.R.L. If, on the other hand, the order cannot be confirmed and/or accepted, Prepei S.R.L. will promptly notify the customer by email and/or telephone.
PAYPAL
If you choose to purchase via PayPal, before completing your order, you will be redirected to the service login page. The amount relating to the order will be charged to your PayPal account or to the card linked to it at the time of purchase. Prepei S.R.L. reserves the right to cancel the order at its discretion.
In the event of cancellation of the order by the customer or non-acceptance by Prepei S.R.L., the amount will be refunded to the customer's PayPal account or the card linked to it within 7 days of payment. PayPal protects the buyer's information.
SECURE TRANSACTIONS
Purchasing online with a credit card is a simple and secure system. The customer's credit card details are transmitted in encrypted form. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) cryptographic protocol for data transmission, a protocol that incorporates the best information encryption techniques. Users can utilize an SSL connection in a completely transparent manner using any recent browser. When sending and receiving data in connection with an SSL Secure Server, masks are displayed that indicate the reaching of secure areas (Hard Copy Form). These areas are easily recognizable because the page address begins with “https” (note the final “s,” which stands for “security”). Additional information is also available depending on the browser used: Firefox displays a “closed padlock” icon in the top right corner (next to the web address) or in the bottom right corner and provides information about the SSL Certificate (certification authority, date of issue, expiration date, etc.) via a dedicated button on the menu. Internet Explorer displays a “closed padlock” icon at the top right (next to the web address) or at the bottom right and provides information on the SSL Certificate (certification authority, date of issue, expiry date, etc.) via a specific menu item. In practice, after selecting the product and adding it to the cart, you must register by entering your details or, if you are already registered, you must log in. You will then be taken to a page where you can enter your details and send them via a secure SSL server. Sometimes, with certain types of credit cards, you may be asked to enter a security code issued by the credit card issuer as an additional safeguard for the cardholder.
